When you’re thinking about hair growth, you also have to consider hair health. I mean, what’s the point of having long hair that isn’t healthy?

1. Eat protein-rich foods

The secret to getting healthy hair starts from the foods you eat.

Michelle Brown, a dermatologist, says “that to help your hair grow, you need to feed it from the inside.”

Now you’re probably wondering which foods make hair grow faster. The simple answer is, those that are high in protein, which are the building blocks of hair, like meat and other foods.

“Try adding more protein to your diet with foods like fish, beans, nuts, and whole grains,” Michelle says.
